Smashed it at Party Illegal last month and you can view a few photos in my gallery. Big connections were made and many thanks to the family in Durham for knowing how to throw a party. Once again I'm digging at my plan to relaunch my radio show. Another big project while I'm scratching at my financial and business goals coming up for the immediate future. Going to keep pushing no matter what because there's no way I can give up on any of this. Lets all hope to be better than we were yesterday.

 Recovering from a crazy night at Party Illegal in Durham, NC and Jubilee DJ definitely lived up to the hype. Ive spent the past 5 months rolling back and forth to NC to experience all of the talent the "Triagle" as to offer and it's been well worth the time. Working on new material all the time and even made myself so known that I'm booked for the next function so catch me in North Carolina April 16. Also I'm expanding my reach and finally gave in to building an INSTAGRAM and snapchat page, You know its "LewisLace" on everything. Twitter has been buzzing with plenty of videos. Didn't even mention on Friday night I did the absolute best performance ever in Myrtle Beach. Was able to play so many vouge beats and 100% solidified a friendship with my promotions partner MOG. This summer is having a hot start.

Always going and coming. I beasted through another crazy Myrtle Beach summer and came up better than I anticipated. Made money, collected a few checks and now out of the sticks to hit the next. Finally upgraded to a iphone so the content is more relevant but you know I still keep the flip phone buzzing. Have a short term goal in mind and about 45% of the way there so lets keep it going. We're planning for a summer outside the state so keep up with me. 

Once again I go on another long hiatus from the net to make big career moves in the world. Past 3 months have been immensely successful and directing myself to a bright future with all the investments I've made. With a brand new car I will surely be ready to book plenty of shows this summer. Updated my music library with new club anthems then threw a few rap tunes in there to keep the block happy. At the end of February I also released a brand new exclusive mix for 1833.FM which you can stream here: 1833.FM Mix Series Vol 47: LewisLace.  and out of that mix you can catch a few of my newest edits that I told you about before my last update: 2 Step (Margaret Antwood & DJ Unk) with the next blend being dropped before the start of June. I put positive energy into the world the past 3 months and I'm expecting for it all to return to me. 

I made it through another winter and soon the spring will be around with plenty of opportunity. Past few months I've took big risks for my career with music and also in my personal life. It's proven to pay off in a big way opening doors for me that I'm ready to take full advantage off. I've also really gotten serious about my music production since last year there are a number of promising projects in the works. You know to expect a few fresh edits this season. I can't talk about everything that's in motion but just know it's going to mean big things for me along with a few of the great people that have brought themselves into my life. 

Been away for a while but now i'm back. 2 months since my last update and I've been working nonstop for the lifestyle. Just so everybody knows the California trip was wild. Got to finally meet my friend in music DJ Bondi who was a perfect host even though i almost goT her busted by LAPD but that's another story. Found out my connections in that city are stronger than ever. Kicked back in a penthouse overlooking LA, private wine rooms, exclusive nightclubs. All i can do is plot on a way back there. I released 2 new blends featuring Lil Wayne & Future on my SoundCloud so you should definitely download those. Today I'm getting things organized for a local event.. yeah, i said that right. I'm going to be DJing for Myrtle Beach at the brand new Pure Ultra Club in 2 weeks so make sure you're there to catch me in action. Usually the winter is so sad but this year my hard work is turning things into a brilliant reality. Stick with me because more shows and surprises will be coming. 

10 days until one of the best trips of my life. Heading to Los Angeles, California for a good time with cool people. Got booked for a few events so I'm zooming through my music library stringing together the best tracks and even throwing a few exclusives tunes in the mix. As of now Playstation @ The Lash is still in effect. Meeting DJ BagLady and the family will definitely be a highlight for this West Coast visit. Also worked it out so 3 days after I return I'll be traveling to Wilmington, NC to perform at Pravda/Sputnik, the best night club in the city and I'm already reviewing flyers to get the kids hyped for the event. My biggest obstacle at this point is deciding if I can pack my bag tight enough to be a carry on or do I get stuck up with a $25 baggage fee but whatever.. It's nothing to a boss. It's been almost 4 months since my last post and so much has happened... The first thing I'd like to address is the death of DJ Rashad of the internationally renowed collective of Chicago DJs & producers known as TekLife. With the speed of the internet and the hundreds of satire sites that are around I thought this was a joke but it was realer than ever. I'm not the kind of musician or person to have a bunch of favorites but the footwork sound that Rashad headed has a huge influence on my career. I'll always play his tunes in my sets and looking forward to the movement getting even stronger. On the positive side I've come across more opportunites in my professional and personal life. Enjoying an exciting "day job" with huge connections to my musical abilities but the biggest thing that has happened is my moment has come... I'm going to California July 1st - July 7th. This is gonna be another milestone in my life so everyone get ready for crazy times. Good luck to you all in your pursuits. 

WOW... Think I'm fully recovered from my trip to Orlando, Florida to celebrate Miles Farewell's birthday. My set was so fun and the amount of energy coming from the crowd was incredible. Everyone was supporting each other to the fullest, I've never seen anything like it before so bringing that home with me was the best. So heated in the club that a literal riot broke out (audio coming soon) but it was handled perfectly and the party kept rolling. Got there safely, returned to Myrtle Beach completely fine and came back with so many memories from the journey. Met talented artists down there that I can definitely call friends. Explored the city for a full 3 days and on top of that I even got to touch a few bootys. After my Florida debut I went to check out the nightlife in the city and it just so happens that Luminox was performing at Vain Night Life and that event was wild. My first time seeing a producer in that way... Can't wait for the next move in my career and thanks to everyone for the support. If you're reading this then congratulations, you've made it through another year and I'm still relevant in your life. I spent New Years in Charlotte, NC at Scorpio Night Club and it was wild. Meet really good people and as always making a business connection is a priority anytime I'm moving. Recently I've been making progress in my music career and surprisingly there has been a resurge of creativity in my visual art. Been going crazy in photoshop making photo edits. Check out my latest one in the photo roll where I transformed Supraman into an owl. Yesterday I was invited to perform in Orlando, Florida at a record label party so the trip will be a nice opporutnity for me plus I'm going with new friend MadyGloom. This year is off to an exciting start so be prepared for big changes. 

Last Saturday was the best night at 7th District Hookah. Got to play so many tunes that I would never have dropped if it wasn't for the room full of eager minds ready to hear something new. Stayed in the buidling until 3 a.m. because the atmosphere was so right along with my new venture into live visuals complementing my DJ set. Many thanks to Chez for helping me set and and always making sure I'm comfortable at the venue. Along with me having a great residency that is growing, my radio show Neon Pancakes is also expanding. Next week JayBizz LeFresh of Toronto, Canada will be doing a very unique set on the show. I'm taking huge risks and breaking onto a new path in my life. Last night I did a very successful first performance at 7th District Hookah on Broadway St. in Myrtle Beach, SC. Been chasing after the opportunity to play there for months and the persistence paid off. Now you can find me there every other week DJing through the winter. Many thanks to Brian & Nolan, the owners of the very cool bar for giving me the chance and also being open to creative ideas. As always I'm working hard to improve the brand so along with my new residency I planned a great event, "Twerk Out", with WCCU Radio which is expected to be a success. At the beginning of this month I went attended 2 very successful events that really grew me as a performer. Big thanks to Innuendo inviting me to Virginia Beach, VA for VIBE SESSIONS and a huge internet hug to the good people at Social Bar & Lounge in Columbia, SC for being such a great audience. Those were my last traveling performances of the year. Now I'm working on the new season of my radio show NEON PANCAKES reaching out to even more talent across the world, and focusing on bring more great individuals to the spotlight. Going to perform many changes to the brand I want to building also learning more a musician to strengthen my skills. It's been fun meeting everyone I have in such a short amount of time. Much love to all of you for supporting my outlandish ideas because they are coming to reality. 

Almost the end to another wild summer. I'm a year older and about 30 years wiser. Running my own podcast this summer and hosting a number of DJs/Producers has really been a awesome experience. I'm going to continue doing it for the fun of being in the music because it's enjoyable for me to contact these artists for performances. These past few weeks I learned so much more about how business works. My ideas are very unique and strong so plenty of people like hearing them along with plenty of people ready to steal your spot. You can kick down so many doors in this world after not being accepted then right when you think you're running things a big security guard gut checks you and throws you through the nearest window. LOL Got to keep moving along anyway to find your next chance. I feel like this is getting a little deep and a lot corny so I'm going to stop now. ANYWAY. I'm still a goof, still a creator and still working to build a great lifestyle for myself. Mr. Ben Sigrah is on my radio show today and I'm going to have fun. LATER KIDS. 

Last night on Boiler Room TV was one of the wildest night in the chat ever. The set list consisted of TekLife DJs Rashad, DJ Spinn, DJ Manny and the legendary RP Boo making an apppearance along with others. Hanging in the chatroom and dominating ever show is one of my favorite pasttimes so with all my constant trollin and natural humor I got spoted by the good people of Boiler Room so the internet love started. Getting Retweeted and Favorited by the stars of the night I can't help but get a litte excited. All this attention is definitely being worked to my advantage. Start of another week of business ventures and going to lock down 2 more residents at clubs in Myrtle Beach. I refuse to stop pushing forward so I can reach even deeper into this delicious bowl of success. Coming into a new month and nothing but great things are on the way. Big thanks to my friend Thomas Yardley from "across the pond" for being the one and only contributer to the New Computer Fund. It's been a tough decision but I had to give in so my macbook pro is only 3 days away. Needed an upgrade to my equipment and will most definitely be seeing large returns from this investment. My event Bopperz Nite Out at Dreamland Skating Arena is constantly growing and getting plenty of support. The season hasn't even begun but people are speaking positive things. Constantly working to gain ground in the area with venues along with gaining new artists to join me on the rise. I'm wishing everyone the utmost success and don't doubt what you're doing. The time is now and you'll be rewarded for your hard work. 

Only 3 hours ago I ended my premiere performance on RWD.FM and it was definitely my most diverse to date. Many thanks for Jamie Shorey (DJ WabberJocky) for inviting me to the show. I'm constantly working on my craft so I can be ready for any opportunity that arises. Neon Pancakes is doing well with a full schedule of guest DJs every week and even branching out internationally. Thanks everyone for all the support.

On my computer looking for new music and educating myself about the old club jumpers. Last night I did my first show at DreamLand Skating Arena and it went well. Looking forward to growing my regular night there into something really amazing for the children of the area. Getting that job was a awesome way to open up my opportunities for the summer. The Breakfast For Dinner Tour is definitely still in effect. Going to reconnect with all of the awesome DJs & Producers I've met in my URL (internet) adventure and travel to their states to act wild in the club. Georgia, Oklahoma, North Carolina, Virginia, New York the possibilities keep stacking up and I'm ready to take it all on. My radio show "NEON PANCAKES" is going to well also so I'm 100% continuing it through the summer. Keep your ear open for even greater premieres and watch my rise :) 

Who knows? When I'm not a superstar, internet famous, cool DJ known by the name of LewisLace I'm a classically trained singer who studies music at a university. Last week I was given the opportunity to travel on a 3 day tour with the choir and it went very well. Highlight of this trip was a performance at the National Cathedral in Washington, DC. Discovered a variety of interesting things about how far my talents can take me and the skills I possess. Recently I've gained even more opportunities by shopping my music and personality around. Getting featured on a award winning blog and being offered to travel to about 9 states that want to be introduced to my sound. It's a very exciting time in my life. All the effort I put into my work is being noticed which is what I've always wanted, just to be seen. I'll continue to keep creating, connecting with people and who knows.. Maybe these wild dreams of mine will come true

Battery only holds charge for 30 minutes, constantly freezing up, so old and too many blue screen crashes to count.. It's time for a fresh start. If you don't know by now it's 2013 and having a computer is essential to life. Me being a music junkie by nature, holding down a radio show and looking to do live DJ performances I need a computer that can handle by busy lifestyle and this laptop is not cutting it anymore. It's been faithful for long as it has and I'm proud it has stood up to the heavy abuse but it's time to put it down. I need your help and it's very simple to do. Going to start another semester of college and I'm definitely ready for it. Have my textbooks stacked up, my lunch box packed and a nice shiny apple to put on my professors' desk. This winter break was very much needed to clear my head so I could set my focus again to reach personal success. So many things have been accomplished but there is always room to improve and reach for new goals. I'm searching for venues all over the country to display my skills, connecting with other talent and it's all going well. My radio show NEON PANCAKES is 100% coming back this year and already have artists lined up to present on my show from all over the world. My whole music schedule is going to busy but I'm ready to handle it all. Going to continue pushing myself and hope you're all feeling good as I am. 

Back home from a fun trip up to GREEENSBORO, NC. Couldn't have asked for a better way to start building a reputation for myself in that city. Going into a place where no one knows your name then leaving with everyone wanting you to come back is a good feeling. The demo tape was definitely a successful venture and awesome investment I made into my career. My DJ set was incredible, met a bunch of great DJs along with producers out there and made friends Thanks to Alicia Brunelli and the family at Brewski's Tavern. I'll be back soon :) 

Been on my mind to get this done for months but never knew how to approach it. Now I've finally completed this project to bring in the new year and I know you're loving it.
